Our Premium Lighting Packages include a Sun System Galaxy Electronic ballast. The extruded aluminum housing is engineered to dissipate heat and keep the components cool. The Smart Volt feature allows the ballast to run on 120v, 208v, or 240v power. Its detachable power cord makes the change over easy. The Galaxy also has a resettable circuit breaker for short circuit protection. This ballast is completely silent and lightweight. Sun System digital ballasts are extremely efficient and come with a 99% power factor. This package comes standard with a Cool Sun 6” Air Coolable reflector. The German Aluminum interior of the Cool Sun along with the internal design of the reflective material offers excellent diffusion properties. The Cool Sun also comes equipped with hinged tempered glass, a completely sealed neoprene gasket, and a redesigned aerodynamic junction box which allows for efficient air-cooling. You can upgrade to the Block Buster 6” Air Coolable reflector. This unique reflector has a square shape which is perfect for square grow areas providing a very uniform, square, intense light pattern. The interior is made from 95% reflective German aluminum and the reflector is completely sealed with neoprene gaskets and hinged glass. This reflector is ready to plug and play with the Galaxy ballast. Finish off your lighting package with our standard Ultra Sun HPS bulb or upgrade to the enhanced spectrum Eye Hortilux Super HPS. The Eye Super HPS EN Grow lamps provide 17% more total energy and 25% more energy in the violet, blue, and green spectrum than standard High Pressure Sodium lamps. These lamps are environmentally friendly and pass EPA, TCLP test criteria as non-hazardous waste.
